What We're All About

Quirky, challenged, bright, frustrating, insightful- some of the words used to describe 2e kids. We just call them ours. 2e kids exist in every demographic and exhibit their talents and challenges in many forms and we’re here to support them all, and you.
 
2e Seattle is a place of respite - a place where you and your kids' journeys are honored and understood. We practice relentless compassion and empathy sprinkled with a bit of irreverence and commiseration. We're all still figuring it out and are learning from one another, even those of us who have been in it for a while. 

Twice exceptional kids are our heart. They deserve to have their gifts celebrated, and their challenges accepted and supported, so that they can reach their full potential. ​

As a group of volunteer parent advocates, we are here to connect one anoother to resources, support you, build connection to community, and collaborate to make the world a more accessible and safe place for our kids. We also advocate at the state, local, and individual level for the academic, social, and emotional needs of 2e kids and families.
